Aradia Folk Festival
Aradia is an imaginary folk festival dedicated to the mythological figure of Aradia,
known as the first witch in history, sent by her mother Diana to teach the benefits
and powers of magic to the peasant women so that they could fight the oppression of the richer and stronger.
We designed a three days festival filled with participatory non-oppressive practices that are instead based on listening and sharing.
These are divided into three areas:
1. Discovery of the place
2. Discovery of the self
3. Discovery of the community
The identity plays with objects from folk traditions and the number three, which not only
has a strong symbology but also recurs in the organization of the same festival.
